The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, among other things, creates new business opportunities. Digitalia, the research centre for information management, has introduced the new Memory Lab research environment, providing infrastructure for the development and testing of new methods, products and services.

The hardware at Memory Lab includes the supercomputer Hippu

The first supercomputer at Memory Lab, called Hippu, is still relatively compact, yet its performance matches that of up to 20,000 conventional laptops or 3,000 servers.
